Fairchild Imaging developed the first commercially available CCD in 1973. As a pioneer in the industry we are dedicated to the design, manufacture and test of high-performance CCDs. Fairchild Imaging offers a wide variety of CCDs (area, linear, TDI) from 1-mm in length to 9-cm x 9-cm square and virtually everything in between.

As varied as our product line, current applications include medical and dental x-ray, industrial inspection and other state-of-the-art imaging applications.

All of Fairchild Imaging's CCD sensors and cameras are designed, fabricated, and tested at our facility in Milpitas, CA.

Custom tailored or commercially available, our CCDs provide excellent sensitivity, high signal-to-noise ratios, high dynamic range, high MTF, all in a quality product.
